Welcome to the 45^èmes Journées des Actinides in Prague-Průhonice, Czech Republic

The 45^èmes Journées des Actinides (45^th JdA) will be held in Průhonice, (next to Prague eastern border)  from 15-19^th April 2015. The first meeting of the Journées des Actinides (JdA) took place in the 1970's and soon an annual periodicity was established. The previous conference, the 44^èmes Journées des Actinides (2014) took place in Ein-Gedi, Dead-Sea, ISRAEL. 

Scope:

This conference is a traditional forum for informal discussion encompassing numerous different aspects related to the chemistry and physics of the Actinides. It regularly brings together experts from all the fields involved, emphasizing information exchange and lively discussions on current issues in actinide science and stimulating new collaborative projects. Moreover, a strong emphasis is given on presentations of on-going research projects by young scientists and PhD students. The event does not have keynote speakers. The type of presentation (oral or poster) will be selected upon receiving the abstracts, while to some degree considering the authors' preference.
